As we go full steam into 2022, I’m delighted to welcome James Williams to the team.

James joins us as a Specialist Finance Associate and will be on the front line with the rest of the broker team working with our clients and lenders on all things Bridging, Development and commercial.

    A bit about James:

After studying Business at Seevic college James undertook his apprenticeship with Williams and Donovan Estate agents, he was soon taken on full time spending 4 great years with them. Williams and Donovan are a strategic partner with Affinity Group, it was here we all sat up and took notice of James’s fantastic people skills, he was a tremendous young sales negotiator. When we found out James was looking for a new challenge on the finance side of property, with Williams and Donovan’s full backing of course, we approached James to join the team.

James said ‘I was lucky to work for a successful Estate Agents and delighted to now work for one of the best (if not the best) mortgage companies in the Southeast of England.

One of my proudest moments whilst working at Williams and Donovan was becoming a licensed member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA).

I am now looking forward to continuing my professional qualifications by studying for CeMAP and becoming a qualified Specialist Mortgage Broker where I will be focusing on Bridging Finance, Development finance and Commercial mortgages.

Away from work you’ll find me at the cinema. I'm a massive film fan, if not you’ll find me at the London Stadium watching my football team West Ham or trying to improve my handicap on the golf course’.

I am absolutely delighted to have James in the team, he will be a new superstar of the business, I have no doubt.

I’d also like to congratulate Sarah Dobson who was promoted to Specialist Finance broker at the end of January.

    Congratulations Sarah!

Sarah joined us around 8 months ago, the plan was for her to spend a year learning the ropes having come from a more retail banking background. It was soon apparent though that with her amazing people skills and tireless will for knowledge she was ready far sooner.

Sarah will head up our bridging finance proposition across Essex and London and also work with our commercial clients and portfolio landlords.

Sarah is already full steam ahead, developing new relationships and getting her name out there across the industry.

With our new team members, I’m really excited to see what 2022 brings.

    Rick Marshall
