The very best part of my job is giving my clients positive life changing news. The below case is a great example of one of those occasions, however, it has not been an easy ride.

Our HNW clients have a fantastic but extremely complicated set of financial circumstances that the high street lenders were simply unable or unwilling to take the time to understand. We worked hand in hand with our clients by understanding and presenting their financial picture to a Private bank who agreed to fund the purchase and build. We also secured 2nd charge finance from another niche lender to assist with the build of an additional annex/office. This greatly increases the value of the property but more importantly completes the dream home that they have worked so very hard for over many years.

Securing this type of finance is never easy even in normal times, but at the height of Covid it was looking almost impossible. I am so proud of the team I have around me who worked through countless hurdles in a persistent and focused manner to ensure we finally got the right outcome.

For the right client, nothing is impossible and the email we received below along with pictures of their stunning new home which our clients have kindly agreed that I can share fill me with pride.

    Dear Rick,

I was only thinking yesterday evening that I missed those daily calls (sometimes multiple!) with you and Ben, desperately trying to shift water uphill…

But seriously, you have been extraordinary in your tenacity and customer service - we would never have got there without you, and we will always be grateful.

It will be our great pleasure to invite you and the families around for a BBQ one day - although I fear that this is more likely to be next summer with all of the restrictions. And by then the place will be looking really perfect, although even now we are super pleased. The key thing is that we now have an amazing asset and a wonderful family home - Thank you both.

Hope all is well with the families and at work.

     Kind regards.
